Little Traverse Yacht Club (Harbor Springs, Michigan) won the Yacht Club Challenge in the 106th Running of the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. The Yacht Club Challenge is awarded to a yacht club based on the success of its members in the annual Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac.
 
Nearly 50 people submitted over 300 photos in this year’s West Marine Photo Contest. The submissions from racers and fans capture moments of the Mac and bring the spirit of the race to life.
 
The Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac Committee invites you to the 2014 Race to Mackinac Awards Celebration on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at CYC’s Monroe Station. Please join us to toast the teams, trophies and traditions of the 106th Race to Mackinac.

Jerry and Greg Miarecki have pulled a hat trick for the 106th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. The father and son team have won their third consecutive Mac on Providence. This year, they won the Mackinac Trophy Division with a corrected time of 41:35:28.

Windquest, a Max Z86 owned by Dick and Doug DeVos, was first to finish in the racing fleet in the 106th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. Windquest and its crew of 18 finished Sunday evening at 21:55 CDT.
 
Infinite Diversion, a Hanse 630 owned and skippered by Joseph Haas, is the first to finish in the cruising division in the 106th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac.
 
Thirteen boats have been selected to use GPS transponders to tweet during the race. Follow our on-the-water #CYCRTM reporters.

The racing fleet is off and running in the 106th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. The double-handed division began first at 11 a.m., with starts just past Navy Pier continuing every 10 minutes until the last division — the turbo division.
