Strictly Sail Week
The Mac Committee will be presenting two seminars on Saturday, January 28, which are free with your admission to the show:
- 3:30 pm. A Preview of the 104th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac; panel discussion led by Lou Sandoval, chair of the Race
- 4:45 pm Racing in the Cruising Division of the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac (and the distance races for the NOOD and Verve) ; with Matt Gallagher, a Vice Chair of the Mac, and Kyle Ewing of the CYC's Verve Cup Committee
We anticipate releasing the Notice of Race and Mac Safety Regulations (MSRs) this week. As was previewed last month, we expect that the MSRs will strongly recommend attendance at a US Sailing Safety at Sea seminar foe 30% of all crew on the boat within the last 5 years. Additionally, we encourage all crewmembers to take this excellent safety training. The seminar being held at Strictly Sail is now sold out.
