103rd Mac Awards Ceremony - Trophies Awarded

A sell-out crowd of nearly 400 sailors, guest and other members of the sailing community came together to honor their fellow sailors at the 2011 Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac Awards Dinner. The theme of the evening was – A Celebration of Our Community – and took place Saturday, November 5 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Mac Awards Dinner 2011

You are all cordially invited to attend the 2011 Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac Awards Dinner – A Celebration of Our Community. The dinner will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 in the Crystal Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 East Wacker Drive, Chicago. The dinner is hosted by the Chicago Yacht Club Foundation. Cost per person is $82.00. Cocktails are at 6:00 PM, Dinner and Program at 7:00 PM and the After Party on the Island will begin at approximately 10:00 PM.

Winners of Clark-DeRoy and Point Betsie Trophies Announced

The Clark DeRoy trophy is awarded to the yacht with the lowest combined corrected time for the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac and the Bayview Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. This year’s winner is Dr. Philip D. O’Niel III’s Natalie J from the Bayview Yacht Club. Congratulations.
